Overview

Dr. Surong Mei is Professor of Environmental Medicine of School of Public Health, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science & Technology, and Excellent Young Investigator of Hubei Province and the New Century Excellent Talents in University. She received her PhD from Wuhan University with a major in Analytical Chemistry in 2002 and. Dr. Mei’s research is mainly focused on exposure assessment of environmental pollutants and their effects on human health. She has published over 60 original papers. Now Dr. Mei is serving as the chair of the health inspection committee of the Wuhan preventive medical association, and vice chair of the health inspection committee of Hubei provincial preventive medical association.
